My Favourite Kohl Eyeliner

I'm not really a fan of hard pencil eyeliners. I've tried them, given them a chance but they never did succeed in getting me into them. They are always difficult to be applied on and drag my lids like no tomorrow since I have to apply force to have the colours to appear.
Basically a kohl eyeliner pencil has similar texture to a cream eyeliner that comes in a jar, the only difference would be that it is in a pencil form which makes it easier for beginners to have control over it.

If you're looking at precision, a kohl pencil eyeliner with a creamy consistency would not be the best choice. I would either use a gel liner or liquid liner. It gives more definition as compared to hard pencil liners too.

I usually use a kohl pencil eyeliner to line my upper and lower water line. Or I would use it to line my upper lash line and smudge it for a smoky effect. Because of its creamy consistency, i will be able to smudge it quite easily whereas with a hard pencil liner you can't.

So far after trying loads of pencil liners, L'Oreal's HiP Color Chrome Eyeliner in 910 Black Shock is still my favourite pencil liner.

Tip: For smudging, line your eyes and smudge quickly. After it dries, it stays on like an angel and doesn't smudge.

Other brands of kohl pencil eyeliner I would recommend would be:

Dollywink Pencil Eyeliner
Pros: Glides on easily like any other kohl eyeliners.
Cons: Not really water proof. *Do not wear this if you're going for a tear wrecking movie*, very few places carry Dolly Wink so you've got to either get this online or if you're lucky like me your drugstore might carry it. If you're in Singapore, you can get it at all Watsons store now!

Dolly Wink Pencil Eyeliner, comes in 2 shades

Revlon® Colorstay™ Eyeliner
Pros: Glides on easily like any other kohl eyeliners, smudge free and water proof
Cons: Smudges if you do not let it dry long enough

Revlon® Colorstay™ Eyeliner

Tip for Kohl Liners: For smudging, line your eyes and smudge quickly. Always remember to let it sit and dry for a while before doing anything else.
