[Sponsored Review] Hada Labo X Olive Oil

Hey Y'all!!

Back with another Hada Labo review! You all know how much I love Hada Labo~
This time's gonna be my makeup's greatest enemy, MAKEUP REMOVER!! >.<

Before I was given this, I was depending on my Biore wipes, korean brand eye & lips makeup remover & then my cleanser to thoroughly cleanse my face when I have full makeup on. Not that these aren't doing the job, but sometimes I have to use 2-3 sheets of wipes and then cleansing my face which takes a load of time. If you aren't familiar with Hada Labo, here's a quick introduction about them~

Hada Labo skincare philosophy:

"PERFECT X SIMPLE"
For ultimate perfection and ultimate simplicity

Inspired by traditional Japanese beauty wisdom, Hado Labo adopts a "no more no less" philosophy in creating its products. Unnecessary additive, colorant, fragrance and mineral oil that will burden the skin are ommited. Only essential ingredients that are beneficial to the skin are retained to ensure maximum effectiveness. - Only the best for your skin and nothing else

This cleansing oil comes in 2 different kinds, the water-based one to remove light makeup and the oil-based one which contains high purity olive oil that is gentle to the skin but is able to remove heavy makeup. It is said to be able to remove even the toughest water-proof mascara and eyeliner. Great for people like me who piles up tons of eye makeup XD

Why High Purity Olive Oil then? Why not just use the normal Olive oil you'll ask? Well High Purity Olive Oil means the oil used has been cold pressed and contains no chemicals in them.
Olive oil has been used as a beauty product eons ago! By the famous Cleopatra~
Olive oil is great because:
  • Moisturizes dry skin
  • Contains Vitamin E which is an antioxidant
  • Relieves inflammation thus gentle to the skin and suitable for sensitive skin

The cleansing oil is near to being scentless and colorless when pumped.

Here's an eye I drew on the back of my hand with Black Eyeshadow, Khol Liner, Liquid & Powder Foundation as the base. I literally just slapped on as much makeup as I can. XD Just to show you guys how well Hada Labo's cleansing oil cleanses~

Here, I pumped out a drop of cleansing oil on cotton bud and wiped it down, used the other dry, clean side of the cotton bud to clean after and this is what I get! A clean straight line! And you can even see the difference of the part with foundation which is more yellowish in color and my own skin~

I then pumped just about 2-3 more drops of cleansing oil and spread it all over rubbing it around for about 30 seconds. I get this grey ugly blotch~ >.< So you can imagine me wiping it all over my face, my eyes would end up at my cheek and my mouth would probably end up on another side of my face. XD

I used a dry piece of cotton pad to wipe it off just to show you guys how much can be wiped off. But the actual way to using this is to massage the cleansing oil on dry face till all the makeup gets removed, wet your face a lil to emulsify the oil then lastly rinsing off with water.

I did exactly what I was told in the instructions to another set of eyes I drew XD And a clean hand resulted! Surprisingly after using this on my face, it doesn't feel greasy at all! You just to got to follow the instructions~

So you guys wanna see how it works on my face?

JA JANG!!! HHAHAHA!
Hhahaha! That was just to amuse you guys~ But it is really that good! I used less then half a pump to remove half of my face's makeup. And I had quite heavy makeup that day~

Rating: 4 / 5
