[Skincare Review + Routine] Hanaka Blackhead Pore White Mask

Yello everyone!!

As promised... I'm back with a review!

Today's review is on the Hanaka Blackhead Pore White Mask!!

So now.. Let's start the story...

Just a quick overview of my skin, I have a combination skin with the T-Zone being generally more oily then my U-Zone (cheek area). My pimples/ millia seeds aka whiteheads tend to break out mostly on my chin and nose.

As for black heads, I'm sure those who have has blackhead problems usually have them accumulating at the nose area? Well, same here + sometimes on my chin as well. T^T
And with that, I'M SURE some of you out there always try to squeeze them out right?!
PLEASE DON'T! I'm guessing the influence comes from facials where they ALWAYS squeeze every single shit out. I won't say they are doing the wrong thing because they have the correct equipments to open and close your pores properly.

But when you do it yourself, if you don't open your pores for extraction and close it once done with extracting the proper way, that's it..
You will have orange peel skin.

Your pores enlarge for simple reasons -
1.  Without proper opening of pores, you are FORCING your blackheads to squeeze themselves out of a hole smaller than their size.. -_- Just imagine....

2.  After you have ALREADY forced your blackheads to squeeze out of a hole smaller than itself, you've lost elasticity in your skin. Ok.. Maybe you tell me: "But I always use a cold toner to help constrict the pores!" That was what I thought last time too but no... sadly.. it helps a little but not to the extend of getting back the same elasticity..Once your skin's elasticity is lost, it's never coming back.

SCARED NOW???

I have had my own experience of going to facials and squeezing my blackheads out on my own.

I REGRET MUCH...
I could have had much better and smoother skin if I didn't do so.

On  a side note, I don't encourage you all to squeeze your pimples too, I used to squeeze them cos I can't stand the pus in there but I came to realize that if I squeezed them, I tend to have "dents" due to the force as compared to patiently applying pimple cream on it every night till it dries off and flakes off by itself, the scars are just of a darker pigmentation which will go away with time. Your skin is VERY delicate, so stop torturing your skin already!!
I haven't been squeezing my blackheads or pimples out for the longest time.. And you should too...

So back to reviewing~~

I first came to know about the Hanaka Blackhead Pore White Mask from Hana Tam, a famous Hong Kong Youtuber that I found while googling for new products to eliminate blackheads.. And her video came up..
(She's so cuteeee *pedophile smile*)

I've been using the Hanaka Blackhead Pore White Mask for about  1.5 months now and I've got to say..
I LOVE IT!!

My blackheads have gotten a lot lesser and my pores seem to have shrunk quite a fair bit.
Also, every time I finish using it, my skin feels so smooth!!

Comparison of the big tub of mask beside my sunnies!
I must say, this tub of jelly textured mask is by far, the best & most worth the money paid for mask I've ever gotten.

Look!!! BLACK JELLY!!
I really love how my skin feels when I apply the mask.. SO COOLING~~

Now..... Before I get to my conclusion for the Hanaka Blackhead Pore White Mask, here's my skincare routine twice every week to get rid of my blackheads aka my deep cleansing routine!
Always remember to only deep cleanse at night, if you do it in the day, your skin will be exposed to dirt, dust and harmful UV rays which is not good cos the outer layer of you skin has already been removed!

GOLLY-LOCKS DEEP CLEANSING ROUTINE
(twice nightly a week)

Step 1:     Normal cleansing to remove surface dirt and grime
(Product used: Leaders Insolution AC Stop Foam Cleanser - Review HERE)

Step 2:     Use gentle facial scrub to further cleanse and prep skin for mask.
(Product used: Cure Natural Aqua Gel / Clarins White Plus
Renewing Gentle Brightening Exfoliator)

Step 3 (Optional):     Pat face dry with a soft towel and wet a cotton pad with facial lotion/ essence and pat face till fully absorbed.
(Product used:  SK-II Facial Treatment Essence)

Step 4:     Time for Hanaka Blackhead Pore White Mask! Using a facial spatula, scoop out an amount of jelly from the tub enough to cover the whole face/ areas with blackhead problems - this is to avoid having bacteria from entering the whole tub of mask.
*TIP: Soak a small towel in warm water and squeeze out excess water to cover areas like the nose where blackheads are more stubborn*
Leave on for 30 - 40 mins before using the same spatula to scrap off all the jelly and rinse with warm water.
(Product used:  Hanaka Charcoal Blackhead Pore White Mask)

Step 5:     Apply KOSE's Seikisho White Mask on the nose area to further remove any stubborn blackheads. Wait for mask to be completely dry before peeling upwards.
(Product used:  KOSE Seikisho White Mask)

Step 6:     Tone and Moisturize skin!
(Product used:  Toner: Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner ; Eyecream: The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream ; Moisturizer: Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Lotion + Snail Street Cream )

The routine above personally works for me very well, but it might differ for each and everyone of you.
Especially the KOSE Sekkisho Mask, it's better you do not use it if you have very dry/ sensitive skin.

Conclusion: (Max 5 ♥)
(Hanaka Blackhead Pore White Mask)

Texture: ♥♥♥
Feels light since it is of a jelly texture, feels cooling on the skin too!
However, it's a pain applying it, because of its jelly like texture, the mask moves around so much when spreading.

Effect on my skin: ♥♥♥
Love the effect! My skin feels soooo much smoother every time I use the mask!
Plus I did notice a reduction in my pore size and blackheads ever since.

Availability: ♥♥♥
Not available for sale in Singapore (i think..) But if you have a computer + internet at home, just order it online!! I got mine at Qoo10!

Price: ♥♥♥
I got mine for SGD $22.90 excluding delivery fees, but I find that it is quite worth the money for a huge tub of 250ml mask which I can probably use for 2 months?

Will I repurchase this again?
I will DEFINITELY repurchase it again, and maybe try the other masks too!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Hope this review was helpful to you and I'll see you in my next post!!

Hello Hello!!

I know I've been SOOOOO behind on my blog posts.
